hAI! polAIda is a secure AI-powered application designed exclusively for use by law enforcement professionals. This policy explains how and why we collect, process, store, and share personal and incident-related data, and the rights you have under global privacy laws.
2. Who We Are
hAI! polAIda is developed by URAV ADVANCED LEARNING SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED, (“we,” “us,” “our”), headquartered in India. Contact: info@uralstech.in.
3. Purpose of Collection
Investigation support: Allow officers to record and receive AI analysis of body‑cam imagery and speech for investigations and critical incidents.
Reporting: Save data securely for official records only.
Operation: Maintain app functionality, reliability, and security.
Data is not used for marketing, profiling, or unapproved analytics.
4. What Data We Collect
Speech text: Captured during law enforcement interactions.
Images: Body‑cam snapshots used to generate AI analysis in emergency situations.
Metadata: Timestamps, user IDs, session IDs, device information (model, OS version).
No personal tracking: We don’t collect user location, contacts, banking info, or health data.
5. How We Collect Data
Data is collected only:
When an authorized officer uses the Monitor functions.
Data is directly stored in Azure Cosmos DB using officer-provided credentials.
6. How We Use and Share Data
Use: AI analysis, incident reporting, operational oversight.
Share: Only with your agency or duly authorized investigators under existing laws.
No external sharing: We do not sell or publish your data to third parties.
7. Legal Basis & Your Rights
GDPR (for EU/EEA users)
Lawful basis: Data necessary for performing public tasks (law enforcement).
Rights: You may access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and receive data portability
California (CCPA/CPRA)
Applicability: Applies if applicable thresholds are met .
Rights: Access, deletion, and non-discrimination rights regarding data collection and use.
Other Jurisdictions
We comply with local laws, including PIPEDA, CalOPPA, and applicable COPPA provisions
8. Data Retention
We retain incident data only as long as necessary to support law enforcement practices, after which it is permanently deleted.
9. Security
Encryption: All data in transit and at rest is encrypted.
Access control: Role-based authentication enforced.
Security practices: We adhere to industry standards and encrypt stored data using robust protocols.
10. Children
This app is restricted to law enforcement professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13

We may update this policy with notice via app updates or email. For CCPA, material changes will be updated annually at minimum

14. Compliance Framework Notice
This Service is intended for use by law enforcement and public safety agencies. If deployed within special jurisdictions, the following compliance frameworks may apply:
COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act): We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under age 13. If such data is inadvertently collected, only verifiable parental consent is required prior to retention or further processing.
CCPA/CPRA (California Consumer Privacy Act / Privacy Rights Act): California residents have rights to access, delete, or correct their personal information, and to non‑discrimination when exercising these rights. However, deletion rights are restricted: only law enforcement agencies acting under valid legal authority may request deletion of data collected on behalf of an official investigation or emergency incident.
PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act – Canada): Individuals may request access or correction of personal information held by us. Consent is required for disclosure, except where prohibited or specifically required under Canadian law for law enforcement or public protection purposes.
CalOPPA (California Online Privacy Protection Act): We maintain a conspicuous privacy policy and respect “Do Not Track” settings. Our policy discloses the categories of information collected, shared, and how users may review and request changes.
Note on Law Enforcement Use & GDPR: Because this Service is designed exclusively for use by accredited law enforcement or public safety entities, we do not guarantee universal deletion rights under GDPR. Deletion rights may be restricted where data was collected as part of an official investigation, evidence-gathering, or emergency response. Requests for data deletion should be directed through a formal law enforcement agency with proper authorization.
